SUCCESSFUL SCOTPLANT SHOW

We are very pleased with the response and subsequent business we have received from this years Scotplant Show. Once again Yanmar shared our stand and the feedback from vistors to the stand was very positive. Our new 3t Canycom tracked unit fitted with a 14m Isoli cherrypicker got lots of attention, so much so, that we expect to sell it in the next couple of weeks. As well as getting more than a few worthwhile leads for some of our machines, we also took orders for several tracks, and some hires too. All in all the show was a great success and we cannot wait for Scotplant 2014.

We have just completed the purchase of another 4 Canycom s25 swivel Dumpers. This model is proving to be extremely popular so much so that 3 of the units have already been earmarked for sale

MOROOKA MST 450 POST CHAPPER CONVERSION

John Fleming of Fleming Fencing and Forestry based nr Thornhill has recently taken delivery of a Mst 450 Morooka Tracked Dumper supplied by ourselves. We were asked by John to mount his own chapper to the unit, and although it presented us with some challenging issues, we managed to overcome them and are happy to report that the machine is performing well.

We are delighted to announce news of yet another sale of one of our 3t Canycom machines to Jock Bryce. Jock is renowned for producing high quality post chappers and believes he has found the ideal machine in our Canycom tracked dumpers on which to mount them. Indeed so impressed is he with them that he has ordered another 2. We appreciate his business and look forward to building a long lasting relationship with him.

October and November have been particularly good months with hire and sales increasing dramatically. We are pleased to announce we have sold a 3t Canycom Swivel skip Tracked Dumper to Jock Bryce from Kelso, famous for his range of post chappers, with a further 2 dumpers to follow. John McLelland from Castle Douglas has purchased a Yanmar c80 Dumper and Mr Fleming of Fleming Fencing and Forestry has bought a Yanmar C30 Machine. With further orders forthcoming the future looks bright

Kattrak are delighted to announce the sale of a 3T Canycom swivel tracked unit fitted with Fence Post Chapper to Duncan Fisher Contracting from Perthshire.

Mr Fisher said: “ The thing that really impressed me about this unit was the fact it can swivel 180 degrees, making it much more flexible.”

This marks an exiting time for the Ayrshire firm who have begun fitting various sizes of post chapper to their Tracked carriers to satisfy the increasing demand from Fencing contractors who see the advantages tracked machines have over Tractors.
